
APPLESAUCE BREAD

FOR 1-1/2 LB. LOAF
| 1 package yeast |
2 1/4 cups bread flour |
| 3/4 cup whole wheat flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 4 tablespoons white sugar |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
| 1 pinch nutmeg |
2/3 cup warm applesauce |
| 1/2 cup warm apple juice |
1/2 cup grated fresh apples |
Put all ingredients into the pan, select white bread,
and push start.

CHEDDAR CHEESE BREAD

FOR 1-1/2 LB. LOAF
| 1 package yeast |
3 cups bread flour |
| 1/4 cup instant nonfat dry milk |
1 tablespoon soft butter |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons sugar |
| 1 1/4 cups warm water |
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated (6 oz.) |
Put all ingredients into the pan, select white bread,
and push start.

ONION DILL BREAD

FOR 1-1/2 LB. LOAF
| 1 package yeast |
3 1/3 cups flour |
| 1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
| 1 egg, unbeaten, room temp |
MIX TOGETHER, WARM AND ADD
| 1/4 cup water |
3/4 cup cottage cheese |
| 3/4 cup sour cream |
3 tablespoons sugar |
3 tablespoons minced dried onions |
2 tablespoons whole dill seeds |
| 1 1/2 tablespoons butter |
Place dry ingredients and egg into inner pan.
Warm next set of ingredients, add, select white bread, and push start.
Lightly brush the top with a little melted butter at baking time if you wish.

HOT JALAPENO BREAD

FOR 1-1/2 LB. LOAF
| 1 package yeast, (5/16-oz) |
1 cup unbleached flour |
| 1 cup bread flour |
2 T. jalapenos,peppers or less if desired |
| 1T. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded |
1 T. sugar |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
7/8 cup water |
Use fewer jalapenos for a milder bread.
Put all ingredients, in the order given,
into the bread pan, select WHITE bread and push Start.
It makes deliciously unusual sandwiches.
The wild, spicy flavor contrasts well with cheese and cucumbers,
cold roast beef, and chicken.
Have a pitcher of iced tea handy! Makes 1 loaf, 8 slices.
Each slice: 138 calories; less than 1 gm dietary fiber,
less than 1 gm soluble fiber; 23 gr carbohydrates;

POTATO LOAF BREAD

FOR 1-1/2 LB. LOAF
| 1 package yeast |
3 cups bread flour |
| 1 tablespoon sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
| 2 1/2 teaspoons sweet butter |
2 tablespoons dry mashed potato flakes |
| 1 cup hot milk |
Place the first 5 ingredients into the pan.
Sprinkle the potato flakes over the hot milk and stir.
Let cool slightly. Add milk, select white bread, and push start.
